Play Groups
We have several active play groups that meet weekly.  These smaller groups allow parents and similarly-aged children to get to know each other on a more regular basis and are a great way for all to make good friends.  Our Play Group Coordinator helps new members find just the right group to join based on time availability and children’s ages.  Play Groups are open only to WAM members.

Babysitting Co-op
There is an active babysitting co-op in our area that is open to all members in good standing.  This is a good way to leave your kids with a trusted friend when you need to run an errand or clean the house.  Get more info on the co-op here.

Moms Night Out

Periodically, our moms experience a night on the town.  Evening events are rare, but are quite popular.  They can run from dinner at a restaurant, to a night at the movies, to create-your-own pottery.

Helping Hands
As a community of parents, we want to provide assistance to one another when needed.  Our Helping Hands program coordinates support, such as meals or play dates, for parents who need a little extra help due to a new baby, serious illness or other challenging circumstance.

Service Projects

WAM members participate in service projects that allow parents and children to give back to the community.
We have collected food and household items for local charities, donated books to Holy Cross Hospital and visited with local seniors to celebrate holidays.  Also, twice a month, WAM members stuff bags for Manna Food Center's Smart Sacks program that provides food over the weekend for school kids from low income families.  WAM members are required to participate in at least one service project activity every year.

Preschool Fair
Once a year our club holds an informational fair wherein preschools from all around the area are invited to participate.  Attendees have a chance to discuss curriculum, tuition, and program choices in order to find a good fit for their children.  The fair is usually held in November and is open to the public.  Get more info on the fair here.
